Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in switchboard design and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the UL-891 switchboard standard and expertise in low and medium voltage electric design. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Pilot Point, Texas, requiring at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of switchboards, ensuring compliance with UL-891 standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate low and medium voltage systems into switchboard designs.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to design specifications.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical components in switchboards to ensure performance and safety.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the production team throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and project management, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in switchboard design and manufacturing, with expertise in UL-891 standards.
  • Proven knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in both design and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineering teams and production staff.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Pilot Point, Texas.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000, with flexibility depending on experience. A competitive benefits package is available.
