Position:Monitoring Engineer

Location:Plano, TX |Pennington, NJ |Jacksonville, FL | Charlotte, NC - 3 DAYS ONSITE/2 DAYS REMOTE

Duration:12+ months

Pay Rate Range:$73.68

Requirements:

  • Experience onboarding applications with Glassbox: Engineer level or experience with Quantum Metrics, Dynatrace RUM, Tealeaf, Full Story, content square- onboarding applications
  • JavaScript
  • Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
    Day to day responsibilities:
    • Onboarding applications
    • UX monitoring
    • Glassbox- UX tool: systems monitoring all components- is everything running efficiently, backend mainframe, database, etc.
    • Monitoring from UX from keyboard perspective. From a user, what are you seeing?
    • Different from monitoring backend, data, (non-user side)
    • Just because all parts are working, doesn't mean user has the best experience.
    • Monitor all parts and captures what happened so developers can go back and look for those errors to make UX better.
  • User Experience Monitoring Onboarding Engineer for Glassbox Monitoring Tool for web based applications.
  • Experience onboarding applications to JavaScript client capture user experience monitoring tools, especially Glassbox
  • Strong in JavaScript and Chrome dev tools
  • Experience with other monitoring tools such as Glassbox, Tealeaf or other real-user experience monitoring tools
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Good communication and project management skills to work with internal application teams and engineering
  • Self-starter with the ability to deliver complex solutions with minimal oversight and supervision
  • Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative technology solutions
  • Hands-on Java application hosting on Linux experience
  • Hands-on shell scripting and Linux system administration experience
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Shell Script, BladeLogic NSH, Python, Perl
  • Experience with deployment tools such as BladeLogic, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef and/or AutoSys
  • Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment
