THE ROLE

The Director, Managed Venues – Premium Sales will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth across our premium sales portfolio in North America. This individual will support the strategic oversight and execution of premium sales initiatives across Legends' expanding roster of managed venues, ensuring sales performance, team development, and best-in-class client experiences.This role is a key part of our Managed Venues business, which encompasses the recently acquired ASM Global portfolio—the largest network of stadiums, arenas, theaters, and convention centers in the world. The Director will work across a broad range of markets and venue types, with the opportunity to impact premium strategy at a national scale while maintaining the flexibility to tailor solutions for each unique property.We're looking for a seasoned sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a strong track record of leading high-performing teams, exceeding revenue targets, and building long-term client relationships in sports and live entertainment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, strategic guidance, and revenue oversight across premium sales efforts in the Managed Venues division

  • Partner with venue GMs and onsite sales leaders to develop and execute customized premium sales strategies

  • Identify new revenue opportunities and optimize pricing, packaging, and positioning for premium inventory

  • Support sales forecasting, goal setting, and performance tracking across the portfolio

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Strategy teams to drive qualified leads and increase conversion

  • Recruit, train, and mentor premium sales talent across the organization; foster a culture of accountability and performance

  • Contribute to new business development efforts and venue transitions as part of the broader Legends growth strategy

  • Represent Legends at key client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements as a senior leader in the organization

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in premium sales, ticketing, or related revenue-generating roles within sports, entertainment, or hospitality

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of delivering revenue growth and building high-performing teams

  • Deep understanding of premium sales strategy, pricing, and go-to-market execution

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) to support venue partners across North America

  • Experience working in a hybrid or multi-property environment

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or other sales and CRM platforms

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $175,000 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: Hybrid/Remote – Preferred locations: Dallas, Chicago, New York
