Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our safety-oriented team. This exciting role involves active fieldwork, targeting hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Operate various light and heavy equipment, utilizing hand tools and powered industrial tools.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work in diverse weather conditions indoors and outdoors.
• Handle environments with potential exposure to hazardous materials and agents.
• Perform field sampling activities and calibrate meters when necessary.
• Complete loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely.
• Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Maintain safe operations of vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT guidelines.
• Participate in compliance and safety meetings regularly.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating on-call basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation for job-related duties.
• Ability to meet the physical demands detailed in the job responsibilities.
• Commitment to emergency response duties, including occasional weekend and holiday work.
• Pass a background check, drug test, and physical assessment.
• Meet OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License.
• Previous experience in a similar labor-related position.
