Job Title: KidStrong General Manager

Center: Location TBD

Reports To: District Manager, DFW

FLSA Status: Exempt

Travel: Minimal Travel Locally

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 plus Bonus

Benefits: Monthly Performance Bonus, Health, Dental, and Vision

KidStrong General Managers are the leaders of the center – responsible for fostering a culture of learning and development for Coaches and Families. They are talented, welcoming leaders who focus on defining goals and delivering an exceptional experience for kids, families, and team members. The goal is to drive the business, develop and train the coaching team, and build the center's culture.

This position will oversee the new center opening process in DFW. During construction, duties will focus on presale membership, community outreach, and support for the open center, requiring local travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CENTER OPERATIONS

  • Understand and drive the center's key KPIs and financials, including profit and loss.
  • Build and maintain relationships with families to align with core values.
  • Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance.
  • Manage employee issues and documentation.
  • Work schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift.
  • Set and communicate Coach schedules.
  • Schedule and staff KidStrong events to maximize profitability.

SALES

  • Drive membership sales via outbound calls on inbound leads (50+ calls/day typical).
  • During presale, calls can exceed 150+ per day.
  • Manage and exceed sales and operational budgets.
  • Respond promptly to corporate/owner and client requests.
  • Drive sales through trial conversions.

LEADERSHIP

  • Foster a coaching culture.
  • Assess and document Coaches based on KidStrong Coach DNA and class quality.
  • Achieve certifications required by KidStrong HQ.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate coaching candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with paperwork and policies.
  • Lead training and evaluations for coaches.
  • Support ongoing professional development via LearnUpon.
  • Lead staff meetings and trainings.
  • Attend weekly leadership meetings with DFW leaders.

COACHING

  • Deliver curriculum focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages 15 months to 11 years.
  • Complete required training.
  • Understand and implement curriculum elements.
  • Communicate professionally via Slack.
  • Work in a physically intensive environment, moving and lifting equipment.
  • Work safely with children, ensuring proper technique.
  • Lead monthly staff meetings on culture and performance.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for working with children.
  • Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians.
  • Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Google platforms.
  • Experience with GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, Gusto is a plus.
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
  • CPR certification.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role supervises Coaches, Lead Coach, and Assistant GM.
