The Frisco Prayer Room & Worship Director is a highly self-directed position that oversees all aspects of the Worship Department and Prayer Room at Upperroom Frisco. The Prayer Room & Worship Director is responsible for scheduling, developing, and creating community for worship around the DNA of UPPERROOM. This is a part-time position offering approximately 30 hours per week, compensated on an hourly basis.
Establish a presence focused culture of honor and excellence in worship
Schedule Worship teams for Sunday Morning and other UR Frisco events
Schedule and build out teams for Frisco Prayer Room sets
Meet with, build relationship with, and train/equip Worship Leaders, Set Leaders and musicians
Pre-brief/De-brief with Sunday Worship Leaders and worship teams
Build a community for worshippers in Frisco
Raise up and audition new worshippers
Plan and lead regular trainings and events to support and celebrate UR Frisco worship and family culture
Foster relationships with UR Dallas worshippers and leaders
Manage all worship and prayer room related communications
Participate in a weekly prayer set
Regular prayer lab attendance at Dallas UR unto personal development
Regularly attend other UR Frisco prayer sets to support prayer leaders with feedback and keep up with culture planting
Participate in weekly UR Frisco staff meetings, and monthly Upperroom staff chapel
Attend all UR Frisco weekend services
Regularly lead worship on Sundays
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a worship leader or a related occupation. An equivalent combination of education and experience is sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job as listed above.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience leading worship teams and prayer set teams
Comfortable ministering to and training singers and musicians
Experience managing a team in ministry context
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Ability to work with a team and individually to complete tasks
Understanding of mutual submission and FUEL prayer model
Familiarity with Nashville number system
