Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee database architecture for the Federal EAP Data Warehouse.
• Manage a dynamic, growing data environment, collaborating effectively with teams.
• Architect modern BI solutions using cloud-native strategies in AWS Redshift/S3; Medallion architecture experience is a plus.
• Lead data ingestion, storage, modeling, and processing strategies, ensuring alignment with Magellan Data principles.
• Develop and optimize Tableau reports and data sources, understanding their impact on warehouse design.
• Lead and mentor data team members, promoting best practices and consistent solutions.
• Act as a servant leader, supporting organizational development with integrity and empathy.

Strategic Role

Define enterprise BI technology strategies, focusing on self-service architectures. Collaborate on information flow models, partner with business units on analytics initiatives, and ensure best practices in data governance. Drive technology adoption, optimize Qlik environments, and research emerging technologies.

Additional Responsibilities

• Guide enterprise data modeling and analytical system implementation.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Partner with IT to ensure compliance and security.
• Manage resources to reduce costs and improve BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in BI/Analytics architecture; Master's/Ph.D. with 7+ years considered.
• Proven experience in enterprise data modeling and BI systems.
• Strong background in IT, data pipelines, and cloud technologies.
• Expertise in BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, and data transformation concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Required Experience: Analytics/Informatics, Business Intelligence

Required Education: Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's in CS or IT preferred; Master's or PhD preferred.

Salary Range: $117,860 - $200,360 (based on location, experience, and education)
