Campus Description: One of North Texas steadily-growing school districts, Little Elm ISD is nestled neatly along 62 miles of shoreline on Lake Lewisville. The District encompasses 40 square miles in the southeast corner of Denton County and serves students who reside in the communities of Little Elm, Frisco, Hackberry, Lakewood Village, Oak Point, and The Colony. Little Elm ISD currently enrolls approximately 8,200 students in six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. In 2025, the District will open its seventh elementary. While it still enthusiastically maintains that “small town” feel, Little Elm ISD embraces innovative programs, technology, and a rigorous curriculum that set it apart from larger communities and districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Description/Notes: Direct and manage instructional programs and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs and operation of all campus activities.

Qualifications:

1. Education/Certification:
   Master's Degree from accredited University
   Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
   Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Appraiser
2. Special Knowledge/Skills:
   Excellent organizational, communication, public relations & interpersonal skills
   Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
   Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
   Ability to manage budget and personnel
   Ability to implement policy and procedures
   Ability to interpret data
3. Experience:
   Three years experience as a classroom teacher
   Three years experience in instructional leadership role
   Three years experience as a campus administrator
   Two years successful principal experience preferred

Salary Range: AP5
