Job Title: Program Finance Analyst

Program Controls (Aerospace & Defense)

Salary: $90,000-$110,000

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Program Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team in the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in program controls and financial analysis, with a deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact to the success of complex, high-profile programs while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EACs): Prepare and analyze quarterly EACs to ensure accurate forecasting and tracking of program financial performance.
Monthly Forecasting: Develop and maintain monthly financial forecasts, adjusting for changes in project scope, timeline, and resources.
Monthly CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements List): Prepare and submit timely and accurate CDRLs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
Monthly Reporting: Generate detailed monthly financial reports, including analysis of cost performance, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal stakeholders.
Programmatic Support: Assist with various programmatic tasks, including work breakdown structure (WBS) management, ensuring proper alignment between technical, financial, and schedule elements.
Estimating and Pricing Support: Provide estimating and pricing support for proposals and new business, ensuring compliance with FAR and company guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of program financial tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
•3+ years of experience in program finance or program controls, preferably within the aerospace and defense industry.
•Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and how they impact cost and financial management on defense contracts.
•Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Must be a proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong commitment to hard work and making a positive impact on program success and organizational growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with program management or ERP systems such as Unanet or Epicor is a plus.
  • Experience with government contracts and knowledge of cost accounting standards (CAS).
  • Familiarity with contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and Time & Materials.

The pay range for this role is:

90,000 - 110,000 USD per year (AAHQ-Albers Headquarters)
