WHO we're looking for:
We are looking for an Operations Event Manager who will be responsible for project managing all events for the retail corporate team and field teams. Events can range from small pop-up experiences to 1300+ attendee conference events. You will be responsible for end-to-end support of all events. Some, but not all of the requirements include, vendor management of all external event providers, delivery of all planned/scheduled programs, project management of all event elements, budgets and timelines, provide program calendars for all programs and events for the field team of 440+ associates and supporting 50k+ retail sales associates. This role will also require cross-functional partnerships with senior leadership events team and internal field, sales and channel organizations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day event operations and staffing of each event.
- Meticulously plan and manage programs, on time, on budget and to scope.
- Manage and report all planned events and engagement calendars.
- Host meetings to ensure collaboration, including managing the virtual meetings features such as screen sharing, recording, polling, breakout rooms, muting, etc.
- Providing post-event support including, attendance reports, post mortems, etc.
- Work with internal creative teams, agencies, training organization and platforms to deliver content.
- Provide reporting to measure and analyze KPI's and success of event programs.
- Coordinate necessary executive attendees with rehearsal times, run of show, presentation content, set up time and on-stage times.
- Manage 3rd party event company and labor company to ensure timeliness, budget adherence and execution.
- Track all spending of events against budget and provide recap of each event cost and ROI.
- Manage the intake process for all retail event requests, and work collaboratively with all teams that have a part in supporting the event, ensuring they are on track to deliver all necessary items for the event.
- Ensure that all 3rd party labor is briefed on the program, expectations and KPIs for the event.
- Bring in all the necessary teams for events as needed, such as, security, general affairs and IT.
- Collect and compile all event feedback and lessons learned, provide recap to leadership team and work collaboratively to improve any areas of the event process.
- Create and manage tasks while adhering to deadlines show casing the ability to organize and prioritize timely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team on all forecasting, budgeting, funding and invoices of each event.
- Manage any additional operational tasks as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:- 6+ years of experience w/degree (10+ years without) in events management, events coordinator and project management.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience working in retail stores, retail multi-unit manager, events, retail operations, project management.
- Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred.
- Strong experience working in a matrixed organization with different stakeholders and a broad variety of responsibilities.
- Experience managing projects of varying complexity; time management and project management are critical skills.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
