What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Support clients with federal, state, and local grant procurement projects, focusing on cost support and recovery
  2. Deliver public procurement consulting services to various sectors including state and local governments and non-profits
  3. Supervise multiple engagements and effectively manage practice areas
  4. Assist clients in developing best-practice procurement policies and procedures
  5. Lead projects and manage relationships with clients and DRS personnel

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the public procurement sector, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
  2. Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus
  3. Current procurement professional certification such as NIGP-CPP or CPPO is preferred
  4. Exceptional communication skills, especially in complex situations involving senior-level stakeholders
  5. Proven ability to manage procurement processes effectively and adapt to complex client environments

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience in disaster recovery consulting or related services
  2. Advanced knowledge of public procurement trends and compliance areas
  3. Ability to develop and deliver client training in grants management procurement processes
  4. Strong presentation skills, particularly in professional conference settings
