Title: Network Architect

Duration: 3+ Months

Location: Denton, TX

Rate: $70/hr - $80/hr

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deploy network architectures, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
2. Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud network services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
3. Optimize network performance, implement redundancy, and ensure high availability.
4. Implement security best practices, including Zero Trust and network segmentation.
5. Troubleshoot complex networking issues and collaborate with IT and security teams.
6. Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent.
3. Technical Skills: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VXLAN, cloud networking, firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet).
4. Automation: Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash scripting.
5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in SDN, NFV, IoT, or 5G networking.
2. Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
