The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational culture. This role in talent will collaborate with the department leader to drive recruitment efforts, enhance workplace culture, and support health safety and environment (HSE) initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & onboarding;

• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment process
• Represent DCS at job fairs and college hiring events to attract top talent
• Coordinate welcome gifts and onboarding experiences to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
• Conduct Predictive Index (PI) assessments during the 90-day probationary period to support performance evaluations

Culture & Employee Engagement

• Organize team-building activities to foster collaboration and engagement across departments
• Support initiatives that enhance employee morale, workplace culture and professional development
• Oversee operations and inventory for the company store, ensuring efficient functionality

HSE and Admin Support

• Assist in Administrative tasks related to Health Safety and Compliance and reporting
• Represent the company at job fairs and college hiring events
• Oversee the operations and inventory of the Company store to ensure smooth functionality
• Assist the Director of Administration with administrative tasks

Schedule

• Monday – Friday standard operating hours
• Occasional travel 25% of the time

Org Chart

• Report to Training, Staffing & Development Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 1-2 years experience in any of the related areas:

1. Recruiting
2. Health, Safety, And Environment (HSE)
3. Culture building
4. Administrative roles
