Akkodis is seeking an Design Engineer (MULTIPLE POSITIONS) for a contractual role with a large Aerospace client in Gainesville, TX area as this opportunitiy requires individuals to work fully onsite.

Rate Range : $43/hour - $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Design Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Reviews specification as related to assigned job.
• Prepares check list.
• Prepares lay-outs.
• Prepares structural sub-assemblies and drawings.
• Prepares sketches for details.
• Reviews drawing package to assure conformance to requirements.
• Submits completed drawings to project lead for approval and release.
• Liaison for assigned task.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Engineering experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree).
• Drafting skills in CATIA V5 (or higher) and/or Pro/Engineer.
• Provide complicated lay-outs and program design studies.
• Generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.
• Present/Be Vocal with identified changes and clearly present them to the board
