JOB SUMMARY

Ensure accuracy and integrity of data summary tables used for reporting and analysis. Has advanced excel and database skills for developing and generating reports that provide management with the necessary tools to monitor and manage the operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Others may be assigned.

  • Participate in creation of complex financial reports and application programs to retrieve data as requested.
  • Ensure accuracy of analytic reports so that they provide meaningful information so sound business decisions can be made.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for the users of the reports and applications created by the reporting team. Review procedures created by Analyst and recommend revisions as needed
  • Lead projects within the organization
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • High level of proficiency in the use of Excel, MS Access, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in use of macros and VB script within Excel.
  • Advanced user of database, financial reporting and business warehouse systems
  • Track record of effectively translating business requirements / requests into efficient reporting
  • Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to rapidly assimilate complex data and make decisions
  • Strong drive for results including demonstrated initiative necessary to anticipate, recognize and solve for challenges/problems
  • Sensitive to deadlines and strive to deliver quality information in a timely manner while handling multiple priorities
  • Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external), attention to detail, command skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Able to manage through influence and collaboration

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer sciences
  • Minimum of 6 – 8 years financial analysis, database or related experience.

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $56,784.00 - $85,176.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
