The Indoor Golf Shop team is growing! We are an online retailer, distributor, and manufacturer of the very best indoor golf products. Our business is run by golfers, for golfers, and is dedicated to helping others create the golf simulator studio of their dreams. We offer the best indoor golf equipment, information, resources, and support for golfers looking to play the game they love, anytime they want.

To accommodate this rapid growth, we are looking to expand our team with a Supply Chain Specialist in our TX office. The Supply Chain Specialist will will be responsible for supporting the supply chain and procurement functions of our team, by driving continuous improvement for developing and maintaining a world class supply chain. This role will work directly with suppliers, distributors and corporate teams to help support the development and execution of short-term and long-term initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards
• Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks
• Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate action
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events
• Adjust inventory plans accordingly to meet changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations
• Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Streamline processes for order processing, procurement, and demand fulfillment to increase productivity and meet customer expectations
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes (3 - 5 years of experience)
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting
• Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs clearance is a plus
