We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a desire to be an integral part of an effective team. This position involves operating various types of heavy equipment used in handling clay materials. The successful candidate will contribute to achieving organizational efficiency and maintaining a pleasant work environment.
Will operate a front loader, dump truck, backhoe, bulldozer, water truck, and any other heavy equipment used in handling clay materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a front loader, dump truck, backhoe, bulldozer, water truck, and any other heavy equipment used in handling clay materials.
Perform general utility work as required.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation.
Follow all required work safe practices, including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing all required PPE in designated areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required for Success:
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including front loaders, dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, and water trucks.
Knowledge of power/hand tools and maintenance procedures.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) - required and provided.
SPECIFIC Heavy Equipment:
Must be able to operate road graders, D6 dozers, 40-ton dump trucks, and 844L Loaders
